| Ajay Bhargava, PhD Founder and Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Bhargava received PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. After post-doctoral studies with Professor Sherman Weissman at Yale University, Dr. Bhargava joined Bayer Corporation. At Bayer, he worked on target identification, target validation and assay development projects in osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and oncology therapeutic areas. Within oncology, he worked on various drug discovery projects including kinases, cytotoxics and hypoxia pathway inhibitors. Dr. Bhargava led cross functional, preclinical drug discovery project teams towards Phase I clinical trials. Dr. Bhargava has authored several peer-reviewed international scientific publications. Stanley Menacherry, PhD, MBA Quality Assurance Officer Dr. Menacherry has 25 years of experience in Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry. During his career he has worked in diverse industry segments ranging from food /beverages, paper /plastics, and the pharmaceutical industry. He obtained his PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Emory University (1991) while holding a research assistantship at the Centers for Disease Control. Recently employment experience includes Abbott Laboratories and Bayer Pharmaceuticals. His main areas of expertise are the development and validation of LC/MS/MS assays, GLP compliance, Design and conduct of Preclinical Pharmacokinetic studies, planning and conduct of preclinical studies for the ADME section of IND and NDA submissions. He is has an appointment as Professional in Residence at the University of New Haven, CT. |
